Post-release of the VII -th International Exhibition of Perfumery and Cosmetics InterCHARM-Ukraine
Nowadays health and beauty frequently are the main components of the formula of success for modern people. This axiom has given birth to creation and development of whole industry of beauty. Simultaneously different decorative products as well as special care products practically for any particle of human body are elaborated, professional services of beauty salons are proposed for people becoming more and more beautiful and strong.
Time interval from 28 till 31 of January become an event for the market of perfumery and cosmetics, the significant event in beauty industry has happened – the VIIth International Exhibition InterCHARM-Ukraine 2009 took place.
Lately all mass media information was saturated with negative messages in relation to a global financial crisis. The first desire for companies’ “treatment” was cutting down primarily marketing costs. An exhibition as a marketing communication could suffer first of all. However the major of the companies do not stop, they understand that life proceeds and high importance for them is finding ways out from the complicated economical situation.
Under the roof of three pavilions of the exhibition complex “KievExpoPlaza” 463 companies were gathering, presenting 16 countries of the world at the same time. They are: Bulgaria, Belorussia, Germany, Israel, Spain, Italy, South Korea, Poland, Russia, Romania, USA, Turkey, France, Czechia, Switzerland and, certainly, Ukraine. The share of foreign exposure on exhibition was 16,7% (77 companies).
From the general number of the exponents there is a delight to select Ukrainian manufactures – they are 45 companies which deservingly present national producing of perfumery and cosmetics.
Huge Ukrainian exhibition project traditionally gives pleasure to exponents with plenty of business-visitors; this year didn’t become an exception. The exhibition of this year was visited by 30 624 persons.
InterCHARM-Ukraine 2009 has overcome all the directions of beauty industry. For visitors’ comfort every pavilion personified certain direction of industry. First pavilion presented perfumery, cosmetics and make-up, hall of foreign delegations, pharmacy cosmetics, house hold goods and companies that were presented packing and raw materials. Hairdressing art and hair care sphere was disposed in the second pavilion and vast exposure of salon business – in the third.
Exponents deservedly estimated possibility of business contacts with buyers – purchasing agents which were visiting the exhibition. Numerous presences of buyers from regions – that are benefits of buyers program, conducted by organizers in last years.
Cosmetic Expo Media Company, the organizer of InterCHARM-Ukraine Exhibition, awarded the leading players of perfumery and cosmetics market with golden medals. Nominations were following:
1. Nomination for individual approach to customer expectations and forming of Ukrainian manufacturer positive image – Acme Ltd.

Possibility of wide choice of professional programs was given to specialists – conferences, lectures, master classes and forums. Subjects of this event were very various: specialist of different directions of beauty industry (hairdressers, masters of visage, cosmetologists, aesthetics etc.) on master classes were shared with their professional achievements, issues of current importance of enterprises management of beauty industry were raised by practical leading managers on the seminars and conferences. The objects of discussion were both salons of beauty, manufacturing companies and internet-stores.

FOR OFFICIALS AND OWNERS OF BEAUTY SALONES, SPA-CENTERS, FITNESS-CENTERS, TAN STUDIOS:
Conference “Investments in Salon Business: Risks and Prospects…” appeared extremely interesting to listeners. Special purpose audiences of the event were both beginning businessmen and gurus in salon business. The representatives of beauty industry enterprises defined for themselves optimal prospects of business development and possible strategies for maximally protecting companies against the crisis phenomena.
Very interesting fact was discovered on event: there are a number of people which are going to open beauty salons.

On the stage of this professional and stylish show such world brands were presented, as: BES, Davines, MATRIX, ESTEL Professional, Green Light, Schwarzkopf Professional, Paul Mitchell.
Wella Professional Day within the framework YOU Professional Show presented certain mix – confluence of two flows: Ukrainian direction of hairdresser art and English innovation. Ukrainian part of the program was presented by Natasha Balabanova, Irene Zayceva and Helen Sedych with the general program  – Trend Factory 2009.

Nail Studio service brought possibility of studding of nail service specialists. The representatives of leading Ukrainian and foreign schools showed the use of the artistic painting, using of the colored gels, varnishes and paints in the designs of nails, design camouflaging acrylic powders from CND, technology of using of the colored powders for exclusive designs, design of nails with lengthening of nail bed in a due form PIPE (gel technology) for “French”, correction of “French” (aqua design), features of floristic implementation by the colored gels of IBD etc. Questions of nail industry touched both the care of skin of hands and feet, professional implementation of manicure and pedicure and services pricing in a salon.

Moreover masters of beauty industry were able to compete for the rank of the best specialist in national championships. High professionalism was shown in visage, permanent make-up, nails and hairs extension, and also cosmetology.

Unprecedented agitate among masters of nail industry caused V Ukrainian Selection Championship on the manicure art of BeautyNails 2009. To show classics of French manicure more than 45 participants went down from all Ukraine. The winners are: Nomination “Acryl nail modelling” – first place Ruslana Ruzhickaya (Lvov), second place – Inna Kharlak (Mariupol), third place – Marina Lavrik (Dnepropetrovsk); Nomination “Gel nail modelling” – first place Elena Grama (Ternopol), second place Julia Zubchenko-Backo (Ternopol), Ludmila Lysenko (Zhitomir).
The winners of two nominations (only first place) got possibility to present Ukraine on prestige International Championship on the manicure art of Beauty International 2009 (Germany, Düsseldorf).

On the II Opened Ukrainian Championship on visage Make-Up Fashion Street-2009 visages of the country have created bright, surprising images taking into account the newest tendencies High Fashion Houses (spring-summer 2009). Color gamut, texture of material and every component (make-up, suit, hair-do, accessories) must represent trend season directions.
First place and Gold Mini-Stella was got by Kudina Darya (Poltava) with image “The night secret”. “War” with the saturated palette in clothes and make-up brought second place to Chayka Vyacheslav. The third prize place has got Lelyuk Ekaterina (Kharkov) with “Joan Galliano’s Girl”. Participants of competition showed high professionalism and creativeness in making make-up for their models.

The main task for participants of the III National Ukrainian Permanent Make-up Specialists Competition “Line of Perfection 2009” was implementation of make-up for eyebrows. The results of work were models performance with the elegant bend of eyebrows, professionally created by masters’ hands.
Winners are: first place – Polivyanenko Alla, second place – Kosachok Ruslan, third place – Gryadovaya Valentina.

IV International Championship of HAIR-EXTENSION 2009 is a competition of salons beauty masters at creation of all-in-one image on theme “My star”.
The prizewinners of Championship become teams which was creating amazing and unforgettable images and making happy farther more visitors of the exhibition.
First place in Championship got Greschuk Galina (Chernovcy) for image “Jake Vorobey”; second place – Vinnik Mila with image “Amy Winehouse”, third place – Kolesnik Taisiya (Dnepropetrovsk) with image “Glamur King”. The first prize for a winner was 10 000 uah.

The final of the VIII Ukrainian Competition of Cosmetologists and Aesthetics “Pearl of Mastery” gave a chance to cosmetologists and specialists in aesthetics to get the rank of the best specialist.
Winners are: first place – Belyaeva Marina (Kharkov), second place – Baykova Elena (Comsomolsk), third place – Davydenko Maria.
The prize for the first place was trip to Paris and possibility of professional studding in training center of Biogenie Company (France).

InterCHARM-Ukraine 2009
VII International exhibition of perfumery and cosmetics InterCHARM-Ukraine 2009 will take place from the 28th till 31th of January 2009 in Kiev on the territory of three pavilions of the exhibition center KievExpoPlaza, the participants of which will be represented by more then 600 Ukrainian and foreign companies.

InterCHARM-Ukraine is the biggest exhibition of perfumery and cosmetics on the territory of Ukraine
InterCHARM-Ukraine in the sixth time confirms its status of firs-rate exhibition in Ukraine in the beauty industry. The number of InterCHARM’s participants on the market of perfumery and cosmetics exhibitions arranges about 40%. And in the case of considering the segment of the companies that are represented their production for ultimate consumer, the market share of InterCharm exhibition arranges more than 90%. Total area of exhibitors number in 2009 put together more than 600, number of exhibition pavilions – 3, exposure square – 25 000 m, visitors – more than 53 000 people.

InterCHARM-Ukraine is the dynamically developing exhibition
This fact can be proved by increasing of countries-participants number from eight in 2003 year till twenty four in 2008, the number of exhibitors grew in three times – in 2008 year it counted 565 companies.
Significant expansion of exposure square from 9 000 sq. m in 2003 year till 22 725 sq. m in 2008, the amount of specialized events for different fields of perfumery and cosmetics raised from 4 in 2003 year till 21 in 2008.
